The Bat

Ruth brought in a little bat that she and her Mammy found in their attic. It was trapped in the middle of some clothes. Her Mammy wrapped it in clear plastic and wrote some facts about bats for us to read. No-one in the class had ever seen a real bat before so it was exciting seeing one close up. We saw the fur, the wings and even the little claws that bats use when they hang upside down.

Medal Winners

During the Summer we were busy winning medals and trophies!

Painting

Anna came to show us how to do a painting of a toucan.

She showed us the bright colours of the beak and told us that toucans

could be seen all over her country.

Then she helped us to do our paintings. It was good fun.

We're looking forward to painting with Anna again.

Sports Day

Before the Summer holidays we had our Sports Day.

It was a really warm and sunny day.

We had lots of different races and everyone took part.

There were two bouncing castles.

We had burgers, cookies, sweets and drinks.

The Mammies and Daddies worked hard to make sure that we had fun!
