GAA Fun Day

This year the GAA is 125 years old and to celebrate we had a GAA Fun Day.
First we made a banner which said "GAA 125 YEARS". We put it on the window.
Then we went to the pitch to play. Our trainers were Billy Caulfield, P.J. Molloy, Eamon Keogh, Joe Rabbitte and Cathal Moran.
We practised our skills and tried some new ones.
It was a great day!

Healthy Eating

Fifth and Sixth Class had a Healthy Eating Day. They brought some food to our class. They gave us smoothies, brown bread, cheese, salad and fruit. It was delicious!
We all said "Thank You".

Shadows

We learned that shadows happen when the sun can't shine through something.
We decided to make our own shadows!

Broad Beans

We sowed Broad Beans. First we got a glass box and paper towels and Broad Bean seeds.
We put the paper towel in the glass. Then we put the seed between the towel and the glass. We could see the seed. Last we put in water. We left it to grow.

See how much the Broad Beans grew!

Easter Pictures

Before Easter we designed our own Easter eggs on the computer. They were all different! Then we coloured them.
